About the role
Turn raw specs into real decisions
Zoe helps Canadians discover the right electric vehicle before they ever set foot in a dealership. The quality of that experience depends entirely on the quality of our data. As our Vehicle Data Acquisition intern, you'll own the pipeline that keeps our EV catalogue accurate, complete, and current.
“The best EV advice is only as good as the data underneath it.”
This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role. You'll work directly with the product team and will see your contributions reflected immediately in what users see.
What you'll do
- Research and collect vehicle specifications, trim levels, pricing, and availability data for EV models in the Canadian market
- Audit and validate existing data for accuracy against manufacturer sources, MSRP sheets, and regulatory filings
- Build and maintain structured data records across our internal vehicle catalogue tooling
- Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and edge cases in the data and flag them with clear documentation
- Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to define data schemas for new vehicle attributes
- Track new model announcements, facelifts, and powertrain changes for proactive data entry
What we're looking for
- Meticulous attention to detail — you notice when a number is off and you fix it
- Comfort working in spreadsheets, CSVs, and structured data tools
- Genuine interest in electric vehicles, automotive, or clean technology
- Self-directed and able to manage a backlog independently
- Bonus: experience with data entry workflows, web scraping basics, or automotive databases
What you'll get
- Flexible scheduling to fit around your studies or other commitments
- Direct exposure to a product used by real Canadians making important purchase decisions
- Mentorship from the founding team on data quality, product thinking, and working in a startup
- A strong reference and a clear picture of what a career in data operations or product data looks like
